Musings about the world around me, the world I create in my mind, and the world I am escaping to in a game.

Hello folks.

This would be my first post here on impulse, and I must say, I am liking the community features available on Impulse. It's much more fleshed out and fuller than Steams.

Generally, I don't normally post  blogs because of the fact that most blogsites tend to be very immature and unintelligent on "teh interwebz". I like it here on impulse and in general, I'm sure it has a fairly intelligent and like-minded community of gamers and techies all striving to voice their opinion about gaming, the state of the internet, technology, politics, and freedom of information.

Well. I'll start off by saying that I finished my college work for today, and luckily for me I enjoy the subject that I am taking in college, eh, which of course deals with computers. I am taking Information Technology to get a better grasp and understanding of computing networking, programming, and troubleshooting skills. I should be finished completely with my Associates degree within 2 years, and so far it has been productive and entertaining... so far. The workload has been manageable thankfully.

On a different note, something strange happened today. Not so much the event that was strange, but the timing. So here goes. I was on my way driving to my girlfriends work (lowes) to pick her as I always do everyday, blasting Pearl Jam, and smoking a cigarette with the windows down when an old couple driving next to me were waving at me whilst rolling down their side window. I'm looking left, trying to figure out what they wanted. Turns out they wanted to know how to get to Lowe's. Heh heh. Wtf man? That is some sick timing. I'm already on the way there, so I just told them to follow me. They smiled and thanked me and proceeded to follow me to Lowe's. Okay, so like I said, not a strange event, but some very weird timing.

Ah, anyways. I look forward to meeting some of you and participating in some discussions. I'm always up for talking about computers, video games, music, and art. So chat me up folks. See ya'll around.

Oh yeah. I have all the GalCiv2 games. Incredible games. I've clocked an unhealthy amount of time playing em'. I don't regret it either. haha
